My research areas focus on second language writing and computer assisted language learning. I have conducted original and rigorous research, generated new knowledge, and established a coherent research agenda during these years. The overarching question that has motivated my research is how new technology tools afford and impact learning and teaching, particularly in L2 writing and language teacher education. Using qualitative, quantitative, and mixed method approaches, the research projects I conducted individually and collaboratively have made important theoretical and methodological contributions in L2 acquisition and shed novel insights into digital pedagogy.
